Rena Pauline Hines Hamilton, 87, of Riverside Manor in Calhoun, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2007 at Riverside Manor.  She formerly resided in Owensboro at 1920 E. 19th. Street.  She was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Harmon and Addie Burdette Hines and was a homemaker.  She was a member of Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church, loved going to Kentucky Lake and Barkley Lake.  She also loved to fish and go to family gatherings and cookouts.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hamilton on July 6, 1978, two sons, Joseph Paul Hamilton in 1962 and James B. Hamilton in 1986, two daughters, Mary Paulette Magan in 1994 and Joan Daily in 2001, three brothers, Gordon Hines, Thomas Hines, J. T. Hines, and Burton Hines, two sisters, Virginia Willyard and Martine Claffy, and four grandchildren, Jackie Lambert, Danny Jewell, Steve Daily, and Joseph Paul Harrison, and a step grandchild, Holly Hamilton.

Surviving are four sons, John Hamilton and wife Chryl, Phillip Hamilton and friend Patricia, and Thomas Hamilton and wife Linda, all of Owensboro, and Martin Hamilton and wife Debra of Calhoun, three daughters, Joyce Jarvis and husband Harvey of Owensboro, Judy Ann Bainbridge of Utica, and Cathy Knight and husband John of Cadiz, a brother, Harmon Hines of Mountainview, Mo., three sisters, Opal Greer of Brandenburg, Betty Wilson of Mountainview, Mo., and Eva McCarthy of Steeleville, Mo., 34 grandchildren, 16 step grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 20 step great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 10, at Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday and after 9:00 A.M. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home.  Prayers will be 6:30 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
